my son came to visit today, he and i are getting a lot closer since he left his jw home and thanks largely to his mother and step father alienating him big time.
he needs one of his parents to help him out at times and he can't turn to his mother.
thats sad but its her loss, and his i guess.. anyway, he recently got himself a girlfriend, a worldly girl at that.
Music to my ears.
Good on ya'!

congrats to bradley wiggins and to all the brits on the board!.
i'm rooting for three riders this year.
2 have a very realistic chance.
Diest: "Wait till Ender Wiggins gets involved."
At that point I think it would most likely be Ender's game.
BTW, happy Bastille Day to any French friends here!!!

witnesses, we were arrogant in regards to knowing all.
the answers to life mysteries.. i have learn to listen.
i have learn to think before i. speak and not put my foot into my mouth.. it,s a humbling experience.
@ Terry: overall. Just one thing I'd modify very slightly:
"Always Mostly use money to GAIN more security, health and opportunity."
You gotta blow a little bit frivilously here and there to add enjoyment to your life. Even if it's just a candy bar once a month.
A former Bethelite told me he would walk past the store every day and his candy bar of choice would call out to him. He always said no, until the end of the month when he would have his $.75 reward.
A good habit, IMO.

Woo Hoo!! Finally got up early enough on a weekend to actually watch the end of a stage LIVE!
Boy, the wind really tore apart the pack today. Glad to see two of my three favorites, Wiggins and Evans, still in the top 10 for the yellow jersey.
Wiggins still holds the lead by a little over 2 minutes followed by a teammate. Cadel Evans is a little over 3 minutes behind Wiggins. It's way too early to say anyone has a clear advantage for the final win. Sure would be cool to have a lanky Brit win the Tour for the first time though.

i was a regular taxi for alot of people.. we (wife & family) pick up one sister and her 2 children for many years ...he husband had walked out on her and we did'nt mind.. however when we were asked by the cobe wife to pick up and elderly and infermed bro a 3 day assembly (we had 3 young children) i said no.. we pased her and her daughter traviling alone to the assembly.. .
As a guilt-ridden, recently reproved, 20-something single guy trying to really "make the truth my own", I was assigned by the elders to pick up an elderly brother from a urine-reeking nursing home every other meeting. He had no family. He was always very appreciative.
It was a very good experience for both of us. Seriously.

Was the "most difficult" stage of the Tour a good view, 3 days (?) ago?

as some of you know, i am employed as master of whisky for seattle (pac nw).
i represent diageo n america's whisk(e)y portfolio.. this includes: johnnie walker, the classic malts of scotland, bushmills irish whiskey, crown royal, bulleit bourbon and rye whiskey, george dickel tennessee whisky, and bucchanan's blended scotch whisky.. my job basically involves speaking publicly about the whiskies, hosting and presenting whisk(e)y tastings and dinners, and educating bar & restaurant staff about whisk(e)y. tough gig, i know.. my mow bio & pic can be found on crown royal's website here: http://www.crownroyal.com/west-masters/breck-taylor.
i was thinking about putting a featured whisky of the week up here every friday.
Well, Low-Key, you've got a rough job, but someone's got to do it!
Here's my wife's latest love, Lagavulin, 16 yr:
I like it too. Just can't wax eloquently about it.

Thanks josie. If we ever decide to leave the dark side of the Force (PCs) I'll keep that in mind.
rather be in hades: Thanks for your specifics. I've read one comment somewhere that Skype is really good at linking up various computers regardless of make or configuation (provided they're not TOO old and slow).
